I recently was hired as a Second Grade teacher in a Title 1 school. I am going to be taking over for a different teacher, and will be starting next Monday. I learned this today. Yikes!!
I am very nervous and don't even know where to start! I have taught 1st grade and Kindergarten, but not 2nd grade (other than subbing of course) so I feel very in over my head, and I haven't even been in the classroom yet. Hopefully the current teacher has some guidance for me! [I'm also interested in why she is leaving...].
